Jul 26, 2010 - @AdieJos TS: You've been described, or I think one of you has said you're a group that's unmanageable. Do you really feel that way about yourselves, that you're maybe unmanageable in the sense of being, forgive me, out of control? MJ: We have a manager, we have a manager. TS: How's he doing? MJ: He's doing--- TH: We've had him before as well. MJ: We've had him before. TS: And then he went away for awhile and came back huh? JS: Yeah, he went to the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time.

HammerQQ Says:

Aug 6, 2010 - I know some of you wanna bag on Tom Snyder and to each their own but please understand Tom was really excited about the Clash coming on his show and pitched it really hard for weeks - like I never saw him pitch a future guest.Sad his demeanor isn't transcending in this interview just how excited he really was. Anyway, it was a great time in history for The Clash and Tom Snyder.Tom may not have had a huge following but those who did 'got him' and his style. Best late late show ever.

Aug 17, 2010 - I like how everything went from being a bit awkward to being noticeably more relaxed, cool interview.

Sep 2, 2010 - i wanna shake the hand of the person who signed this group to a contract. the clash managed to get into the system and then spit on it. more bands need to be like them. thank god for the clash!!!!!

jamesbullet55 Says:

Sep 2, 2010 - The Clash and The Pistols propelled the punk movement in England and IMO are GODS!

trulysarcastic Says:

Sep 2, 2010 - This is where the Clash realy piss me off. They have this spotlight on them and instead of using it in a positive way to show what their about, that they really have something to say in their songs they piss away the opportunity

hadar1g Says:

Sep 6, 2010 - @trulysarcastic - I agree. The mistake was to send all the band to the interview, and not just Strummer (and maybe Jones too, but no more). You often hear it in radio interviews of bands today - when a group of young men come together, they are only there for the laughs, unlike serious answers you get when only the band leader is there.

UnrecycleRubdish Says:

Sep 6, 2010 - @trulysarcastic The message is in the songs. Why bother repeating it off the stage?

trulysarcastic Says:

Sep 6, 2010 - @UnrecycleRubdish going by your theory then why do an interview if your not going to talk about anything, and just play with a doll?

UnrecycleRubdish Says:

Sep 6, 2010 - @trulysarcastic To entertain people.

trulysarcastic Says:

Sep 6, 2010 - @UnrecycleRubdish watching people playing with a bear and avoiding questions doesn't seem all that entertaining to me, to each their own

janoschii Says:

Sep 7, 2010 - @trulysarcastic Why do you think it needs to be entertaining? They behave like they want to. No more. Thats different today. Today everyone on tv is orientated at the spectators. Thats often mendacious and boring. When do you see the last time someone talking downright on tv. I dont want to say that clash did this here. But I believe that they are not dolls like that shit on tv today. Maybe the are a bit arrogant, but not lying. I am ok with that.

Kelly14UK Says:

Sep 7, 2010 - Finally realised, as a Damned fan, that The Clash had a sense of humour! : D Heard Paul liked b/w movies too.
